Britni Levensailor, VP and co-founder of the firm, says she’s excited about the 13 year milestone. She said, “We’re excited every year on our anniversary date. To our team, this date is a reminder of where we started and also where we want to go in the future.”
Levensailor remembers very well the early days of the firm. She recalls, “We had pretty humble beginnings. We had a one room office in Ft. Worth and several of us shared the office. When a client joined us for a meeting, it could get kind of cozy!” Today, DFW Retirement Planners serves the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex from 2 offices and hosts a weekly radio program, “DFW Retirement Radio” on 820 WBAP Radio. Serving over 500 North Texas families, Levensailor calls DFW Retirement Planners a ‘big-small’ firm. She adds, “Big enough to have a Dallas and Ft. Worth office, great staff and serve over 500 clients, but not so big that we don’t know you when you come through our doors. We’re like a small town in that regard and I hope that never changes.”
So what’s changed in 13 years? Plenty according to Levensailor, including the team of strategic partners that the firm works with. One thing that hasn’t changed, according to Levensailor, is what clients are looking for in retirement. DFW Retirement Radio, the retirement talk radio program that Levensailor hosts, is one of the most listened to weekend programs in Dallas-Ft. Worth radio. The program, heard 2-3 PM Saturdays on 820 WBAP, just started its 6th year on the air.
