(DALLAS-FT. WORTH — DFW Retirement Planners News) 2019 is a milestone for DFW Retirement Planners as the firm enters its 15th year of serving North Texas. Britni Levensailor, Senior Planner for the firm, recently talked about the anniversary on her weekly radio program, “DFW Retirement Radio.” She said, “We are humbled and blessed to be starting our 15th year of helping our clients retire better. I was there for our first day and remember it well.”
DFW Retirement Planners’ beginnings were, indeed, humble. Levensailor remembers starting in Ft. Worth with a one-room office that had to be shared. She added, “When you’re starting a business you do what you need to. In our first year, I remember it was a bit cramped, but it was enjoyable and it makes us all appreciate where we are today.”
Since the early days, DFW Retirement Planners has expanded to a significantly larger footprint in Ft. Worth as well as a Dallas office. The firms now serves over 500 client families, mainly from around Dallas and Ft. Worth. Levensailor’s weekly radio program is one of the highest rated financial radio programs in the DFW market.
So what’s the highlight of 15 years? Levensailor says it’s working with family and being part of their client’s lives. She added, “I really feel fortunate to be able to work with my family every day. And being able to help our clients plan for the best life possible in retirement is also very rewarding. Every day I meet people who know what they want to be doing during retirement, they just don’t know how to pay for it. We help them figure out the ‘how’ part of the equation.”
In terms of how the firm has changed over the years, Levensailor mentioned the DFW team of strategic partners. She said, “We’ve invested years into finding professionals in areas such as tax planning, social security, estate planning and medicare. As a client works with us at DFW Retirement Planners, they have access to these professionals, which makes us a ‘one stop’ for all our client’s retirement needs.”
