(DALLAS-FT. WORTH – DFW Retirement Radio News) DFW Retirement Planners is celebrating Financial Literacy Month with a series of special broadcasts on their weekly radio program, DFW Retirement Radio. The program is broadcast Saturdays from 2-3 PM on 820 WBAP Radio.
Britni Levensailor, DFW Retirement Planners planner and co-host of DFW Retirement Radio, commented on the financial literacy series. She said, “During Financial Literacy Month, we devote time on every program to discussing different aspects of teaching financial literacy. We’re encouraging everyone to think about new ways that they can impact a young person in a discussion regarding money.”
DFW Retirement Radio co-host Pete Thomson said that the Financial Literacy series is a highlight of the year for the team at DFW Retirement Planners. Thomson added, “Our goal with the series is to plant a seed, to get our listeners thinking about ways that they can engage the young people around them. When young people gain an understanding of money principles at an early age, it gives them a real advantage in life. Our financial literacy series has been a very rewarding project for all of us on DFW Retirement Radio.”
DFW Retirement Radio is entering its fifth year of broadcasting financial, retirement and investing information to Dallas-Ft. Worth area listeners. Thomson said the program’s longevity has given DFW Retirement Planners an opportunity to impact people on a number of levels. Thomson said, “Britni Levensailor, Alan Maples, Mark Robinson all bring great content and perspective to the program each week. We’re excited to see DFW Retirement Radio be one of the most listened to financial radio programs on weekends in Dallas-Ft. Worth. The reviews, feedback and encouragement from our listeners and clients has been very encouraging. It’s gratifying to hear someone say that they listen every Saturday and never miss an episode of DFW Retirement Radio.”
