(DALLAS-FT. WORTH, TX — DFW Retirement Planners News) Through the years of serving North Texas, DFW Retirement Planners has joined with their clients to support a number of area charities. In the last year, those efforts have helped Ronald McDonald House of Ft. Worth and Toys for Tots.
Britni Levensailor, Vice President of DFW Retirement Planners, talked about the charity outreach. She said, “Since we started our firm, we’ve felt that giving back to our community is very important. And our clients have been so supportive of our desire to help others.”
Last year, DFW Retirement Planners donated supplies to Ronald McDonald House’s “Lights of Love” campaign. And DFW Retirement Planners’ clients stepped up to give hundreds of toys and gifts to the Toys for Tots Christmas campaign in both Dallas and Ft. Worth.
In previous years, the firm has supported Cowboy Santa and The Shriner’s Hospital for Children. The support included coverage on the radio program, DFW Retirement Radio. Britni Levensailor added, “Each year we try to do several events where we join with clients to make a difference in the lives of people who need our help. One of my favorite outreaches was cooking dinner for the families staying at The Ronald McDonald House in Ft. Worth. Our entire team and several client families would work together once a month to provide a home-cooked meal to folks who really needed some love and relaxation at the end of their day.”
Pete Thomson, co-host of DFW Retirement Radio, added, “Every year the team works hard to make a difference for people who are in need. The generosity of the firm and their clients is really impressive.”
