(DALLAS-FT. WORTH, TX) DFW Retirement Planners today announced support for several North Texas area charities including Silver Stars, Cowboy Santa and the Susan G. Komen “Race for the Cure.” Britni Levensailor, VP and Senior Planner with the firm, made the announcement at a recent kick-off luncheon for the firm.
On her weekly radio program “DFW Retirement Radio” Levensailor, talked about the charity outreach of DFW Retirement Planners. She said, “Since we started our retirement planning firm in DFW over 14 years ago, we’ve felt that giving back to our community is very important. Every year, prior to the holiday season, we identify several charities that are really making a difference in peoples’ lives. A new charity for us this year is Susan G. Komen and I’m thrilled to announce that we are supporting them in 2018. I can’t wait to get to work for these great charities.”
The “work” Levensailor refers to is a multi-faceted campaign to support partner charities. She added, “We feature each of our partner charities on our radio program, DFW Retirement Radio, on 820 WBAP Radio. We’ve been on the air for over 7 years and reach thousands of people every month. In addition, our staff and our clients also get involved with our charity support. It’s amazing what can be accomplished when people work together.”
Last year, DFW Retirement Planners donated supplies to Ronald McDonald House’s “Lights of Love” campaign. And DFW Retirement Planners’ clients stepped up to give hundreds of toys and gifts to the Cowboy Santa & Silver Stars Christmas campaigns in both Dallas and Ft. Worth.
One of Levensailor’s favorite charities is The Ronald McDonald House in Ft. Worth. She described DFW Retirement Planners’ support of the charity. She said, “Ronald McDonald House does a tremendous job of offering support to sick children and their families. Our entire team and several client families would work together once a month to provide a home-cooked meal to folks who really needed some love and relaxation at the end of their day.”
DFW Retirement Radio is broadcast Saturdays from 2-3 PM (Central) on 820 WBAP Radio in Dallas-Ft. Worth. For more information, click here or call 888-774-4492 (888-7-Piggy Bank).
